In 2019, the Redding Bank of Commerce and The Merchants National Bank of Sacramento unified under the new name Merchants Bank of Commerce. This whole-bank acquisition and name change required that all company printed materials be updated and communicated to their audience. The objective behind the rebranding was to streamline and elevate the Merchants Bank of Commerce brand to look more professional and business-oriented. When creating the new print materials, the epicenter of the process was integrating components of the Bank’s existing branding, while making the logo more clean, polished, and modern.
